December 21, 2014 marked my THIRD year scoring a spot on the red carpet to meet and interview some of the biggest artists of the year. In the past, I usually just drove down the morning of the event and spent 4+ hours in the car picking at my nails nervously and literally having a conversation with myself rehearing the questions I would ask, but this time it was different. I linked up with my friend Skeery (@SkeeryJones) from the Elvis Duran Morning Show (yes, really) and after chatting about my Jingle Ball nerves for a while, I decided to be his +1 to see our friends and one of my favorite bands, The Script, play a pre-Jingle Ball concert at LIV in Miami on Saturday night– that was the BEST decision I made all week!

Not only was I getting to pick Skeery’s brain about the music industry for hours as I tend to do when we’re together, but I got a solid pep talk because, well, that’s what friends are for 🙂 It was great to soak in all the energy Miami has to offer, and it was an added bonus to meet a few other members of the morning show cast, which was pretty cool because they’re the people I listen to every morning on my way to work and it’s almost like you’re already friends because you know so many details about their lives through the show. Ummm Danielle and Carla Marie?? GORGEOUS!

Of course, a HUGE thank you to Skeery for letting me tag along and the crew at Y100 in Miami for putting on a great party. I can’t wait to share all the red carpet interviews from Jingle Ball 2014. Keep checking back every week starting in January to see them 😉
