My passions in life are simple: music and people.

My earliest childhood memories involve singing and dancing to old records in the living room with my dad. Growing up as a Navy brat, I was taught from a early age how to adapt to my surroundings and make friends quickly. It’s a skill that has helped me throughout my life, and is apparent in my various social circles. Music is the language that transcends through all generations, races, and religions. No matter what state or country we lived, music was the one stable thing in my life- I’d be lost without it.

It wasn’t until my sophomore year in college that I realized music needed to be a bigger part of my life. I switched my major from nursing to public relations, and things started to take off from there. I started out by going to local shows and meeting radio deejays. Networking is a skill that needs to be practiced like anything else, and I networked the HELL out of every event I went to.

I firmly believe that people are brought into our lives for a reason. Whether it’s a baby in the grocery store line sent to put a smile on my face, or a broken relationship meant to teach me an important life lesson- EVERYONE serves a purpose. I’ve been very fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.

2012 started off in a way I could have never imagined. I was asked to write music reviews and band interviews for a local publication in Jacksonville, FL and things have only gone up from there. As a writer, I wanted to find a way to give my articles a creative edge and make them stand out. As a music fan, I prefer watching bands in an interview because it gives me a look into the personal side of the artist and a feel for their personality. I attend 2-3 concerts a month and wanted to find a way to share my experiences, but pictures can only do so much.

I was inspired to start vlogging (video blogging) and things took off. There is SO much talent in nearby Jacksonville Beach, so I often visit local venues and hanging out with some of my friends to showcase new music they’re working on and document the crazy things we talk about. However, shows aren’t the only thing I vlog. After working a few games for the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2011 season, I formed friendships with a few of the players and together we host fan events. There is no limit to where these vlogs will go!

Step into my world. Enjoy my experiences. This is my life.
